Campaign planningFashion campaign brief template for product visuals
Use this concise brief template to align product photography, model styling, backdrop, deliverables and revision expectations.

Structure the brief around facts and direction
Write one sentence about the collection and the action you want the customer to take. A seasonal drop, a new colourway and a restock may need different visual emphasis. Name the audience and where the images will be used.
List product name, colour, material, fit, sizes, print, trims and details that must remain visible. Attach a clean product photo and closer references. Separate confirmed facts from creative preferences.
Specify the number and type of images, video length or format, delivery date and approver. Confirm how many revisions are included and what counts as a new creative direction. Keep approvals in one place.
Put the guidance into practice
A brief might say: “Introduce the new spring knit set to returning customers. Keep the cream-and-rose palette, show the full silhouette, and leave open space for a launch headline in one image.” Add the product facts and quantities below it so creative direction never replaces factual information.
Before you publish
- Launch goal and intended audience.
- Product facts and clear reference photographs.
- Visual mood, backdrop and intended placements.
- Quantities, deadline, revision scope and approver.
Frequently asked question
Can I send an Instagram reel as a reference?
Yes. Explain which parts you like, such as pacing, colour or mood. The direction can be adapted without copying another creator’s exact work.
