A five-shot storyboard for a fashion product reel
Plan a concise product reel with five purposeful shots, from an opening hook through product detail to a clear next step.

Give each shot a job
Use the opening moment to show the item or main styling idea. A viewer should understand the category before the edit moves into atmosphere. Keep the first shot uncluttered and reserve text for a short, readable phrase if needed.
One possible structure is: full look, fabric or feature close-up, alternate pose, styled context and closing frame. Change the sequence to fit the item; do not force a detail shot if there is nothing useful to show.
Choose a final prompt such as view the collection or explore the colourways. Check that text is readable at mobile size. Confirm product details, logo, crop and spelling, and watch the edit muted as well as with audio.
Put the guidance into practice
A simple storyboard could open with a full outfit, move to a close-up of the knit, show an alternate pose, add one campaign setting and finish with the collection name. If the item is a bag or accessory, replace the knit detail with the feature shoppers need to see.
Before you publish
- Opening view that identifies the item.
- A relevant detail or alternate angle.
- A styled view with a coherent transition.
- A readable final action or collection name.
Frequently asked question
Do I need music for a product reel?
Music is optional. Choose audio that fits the brand and placement, and ensure the story is clear without sound.
